Computer Aided Analysis Laboratory

The Computer Aided Analysis Laboratory is a new addition to the computation power of the Civil Engineering Department. This laboratory, with its state-of-the-art computers and software, allows for finite element and fracture analysis in a graduate setting.

  • 5 Sun Ultra 1 with 64 mb of memory 2gb of disk space 
  • 1 Sun Sparc 5 with 32 mb of memory 2gb of disk space

  • PATRAN mesh generation and display program 
  • GNU77 fortran compiler 
  • FRANC Fracture analysis program
